Telangana govt implementing building standards rigorously
Hyderabad: A remarkable and supported crackdown has been taken up by the State government against developments that have sprung up without essential endorsements and abusing the guidelines. The activity was started against 100 such structures in the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) limits over the most recent ten days.

Before the drive started, Metropolitan Commissioner, Arvind Kumar, had comprised four groups to do a ground review and recognize unlawful developments. In light of the reports presented by these groups, vital and fitting activity was being started.

The District Task Forces (DTFs) were solely shaped to clear unapproved structures in their particular locales following the execution of Telangana State Building Permission Approval and Self-Certification (TS-bPASS).
Each DTF contains authorities from different divisions including Revenue, Police, Fire Services, and Roads and Buildings.
DTFs work under the chairmanship of the District Collector and they screen, recognize and start activity against unapproved designs, structures straying from the supported plans and built without acquiring consent.
The DTFs will attest the deviation into two classifications i.e under 10% deviation or more than 10% deviation.
